I am afraid that I will be a looser or an under achiever my whole life but I am trying so hard.?

I have nonverbal learning disability which affects almost every area of my life. I also have had sever depression for two years and haven't been functional despite many different medicines, psychologist. I'm turning 17 in 4 days and I don't have my drivers license. My mind frequently races to the point that i cant think and i see and here scary things that aren't there at those times.

These things don't make it ok that I'm not doing as well as everyone else. I don't know what to do I'm still not capable of doing basic things like getting meals, sleeping, or showering on a schedule.

My dreams are to have a family, travel, and to breed a successful pair of pythons. It's important to me to be an accomplished and happy person. Please help me see this clearly so I know what changes to make?

Keep trying love. You are very self aware and that helps. keep around positive people who support you. leave negative people out of your life. Find a really good supportive psycholigist and if the one you are seeing is not helping, try someone else. Medication is important for depression and there are lots. if the medication is not making a difference talk to the doc about other alternative medications or a higher dose. How you think is very important. if you are controlled by negative thoughts and re occuring thoughts you cannot get rid of it is very hard. You dont know what is real and what is in your head. Cognitive feedback therapy can help with this. You learn to self talk.
To help with daily tasks use your mobile phone alarm to keep you awake and alert. an alarm to get up/ Alarm to have a shower - with a written message to help you remember. Keep meals simple. IE cereal or toast for breakfast. Sandwich and fruit for lunch. Do the same as shower- put in a message with an alarm and put what you are having for them meal ie toast and honey and coffee. For dinner, buy little lasagnes etc from shop and add a salad. So not too much to get ready. or even a tin of soup. Make sure you eat as healthy as you can. One more thing to help with depression. It sounds over simple but physical exercise will help counteract depression. Walking and jogging or a game or dancing even singing help release endorphines in your body- natural highs. These help make you feel better. So try a bit of exercise every day. Pets even a fish are good too. Take your mind off yourself. You are very young. Please look after yourself. I have depression from bad work experience and i am old (50) I get many symptoms you do and not all things help all the time. But try them. if you feel like hurting yourself DO NOT. There is always someone who cares and will help you. Even come back on here. YOU CAN DO THIS LOVE.
