I am trying to view streaming video behind a wireless-G bridge to a Wireless-N router. How to improve speed?
Linksys WRT54G2 is picking up the signal from my dlink DIR-628 which is routing DSL to wireless. On the linksys I have a physical connnection trying to get streaming video and it's poor quality. Can I change settings on either router to improve this? If only my D-link could somehow "buffer" surely it can transmit the packets over to the linksys fast enough. Or any other ideas?
So you have two routers linked together? The only reason I can thing of for why you would like two routers is to have a secured and unsecured access point.
Anyway, if the video stream is corrupted/slow, lower the resolution/video and sound quality settings in the server program, that will make the transmission of data smaller.
