Videos from my Panasonic won't play on my Mac?
I have a Panasonic SDR- S7 with an SD card. It had it's own SD card, but for some reason, the card doesn't work anymore, so now I use the same card for my Canon DSLR in it (if that matters). I uploaded the video I had taken from my camera onto my computer by putting the SD card in an external SD card reader since I lost the USB cord (again, not sure if that matters), the video came up in three options .MOD .MOI and .PGI, I click them all and the files were not readable. I hope that makes sense, I'm not very good with technical terms. Am I doing something wrong or is the camera or SD card?
i use the free download program below to convert. mod to mov, or mpeg-4 that iMovie imports, please don't get me wrong, although the article is about how to import htc evo 4g video to iMovie, but actually, the program will read any video file format for conversion and help import to iMovie, FCE, FCP.
you can just ignore the.moi file, it's actualy a txt file that store some info but really has nothing to do with video, audio stuff, hope this would be helpful
Canon PIXMA MP980 Cartridge Review
If you are already making among the finest ranges of all-in-one printers, it may be difficult to imagine options to improve. With the PIXMA MP980, Canon has made a decision looking at the inks, offering another colour combination with regard to consumers who like to print black and white together with colour photos.
As previously, there's two paper sources in this printer, however Canon has restricted the media with regard to each. With this device, the 150-sheet paper cassette at the front is actually the lone location you should put plain paper, whilst the back tray, which may take photo paper from 15 x 10cm up to A4, is designed especially for pictures.

There is a PictBridge socket beneath these.
At the rear of the device there is a sole USB socket, but a Wi-Fi connection is an additional standard option. Wireless installations could be bad or good. On a printer directed at the home market, you'd expect things to be as easy as feasible and Canon has done extremely well. You have to connect a USB cable to begin with during setup, nevertheless the procedure is then virtually automatic.
Even though Canon promises a top speed of 11ppm for both black and colour prints in normal mode, we couldn't achieve more than 6.38ppm printing black along with 3.37ppm in colour. Adding duplex print, as before with Canon all-in-one, kills the speed to 2.29ppm, using 8:44 to print the 20 page text document.
In comparison, printing photos is fairly quick, while second as well as succeeding prints in a multi-print job taking close to 20 seconds for a good quality, 15 x 10 cm print. Though, the very first photograph, and for instance the first page of any document, only starts after around 25 seconds 'thinking' time.
The Canon MP980 printer ink cartridges form an odd sequence with two black cartridges, the PGI-520BK for text along with the CLI-521BK for graphs and also photos, they are supplemented by the usual cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges. The addition though of a grey cartridge CLI-521GY is meant to enhance sepia photos as well as greyscale and we must be honest really does appear to get the job done.
