I am going to buy a nikon D60 Dslr camera, Does it matter what brand and gb size memory card i buy?
Besides the size of the card, there is also a speed rating. If you are going to do a lot of sports, where you may take long sequences of shorts, having fast card helps. It also helps when copying your photos to your computer.
If you are mostly taking portraits, landscapes, etc, speed is less of a concern.
You should purchase your memory card from a reputable place. Even though I buy lots of things on Ebay, I don't buy memory cards there. There are far too many fakes on Ebay and you can't tell from the auctions if they are authentic or a cheap imitation.
