Help!!! My computer is burning hot and melting-down...!!?
I have a philips LS1100 Freeline computer and i've noticed that it has a major design flaw. It is very compact and this prevents cold air from circulating through the PC.
After 20 minutes, the fan is constantly blowing and the computer is very hot. The cd drive, hard-drive and pci-e cards feel like their burning fire.
I will have to get a new computer eventually, but this is all i got for now.
What can i do/buy to fix this problem?

Mind you, I'm just assuming you've blown all the dirt and such out with an air can (preferably outside your house/apt), since you say you've physically touched the HD and RAM and say they feel hot means you've opened up your chassis, and I'd think seeing armies of dust bunnies inside would give you a hint at what to do.

Today the typical computer will come with a hard drive that has at least 40 GB of storage. Our recommendation, though, would be in the area of at least 100GB to 160GB for small business applications. A common drive speed is 5400 rpm but a 7200 rpm Ultra-ATA/100 drive will perform much better. The Ultra-ATA is what connects the drive to the PC.
