I bought a laptop from the catalogue, did not take out extended warranty, does normal warranty cover accidents

Acer Aspire 4730Z employs only two USB ports that are placed too close. A thick flash drive and a mouse cable cannot be used at the same time, but if you are using a thin flash drive then it is quite possible. Also, there are many unnecessary applications installed and this laptop could have ruled out the idea of pre-installing these applications, except the Acer utilities.
