Is there a wireless device I can buy to remotely connect the lan cable from a router to a DVD player?
The router is too far from the DVD player for a direct connection. I heard somewhere there is a device (which can be plugged into any outlet) and can be set up for wireless connectivity to a router and which also has a plug for a lan cable.
There are power plug wireless connections. These would all require a network card at the equipment to succeed. Unless the dvd player is actually a network drive this will not be the case.
