Help with external hard drive enclosures?
With the new Radeon HD 5970 (5870x2) being released soon, I'm going to need to remove my hard drive cage to fit it. I was wondering if anyone knows of an external hard drive enclosure that connects via internal SATA? All of the enclosures I found had a SATA hard drive connection within the enclosure, but they connected to the computer via USB 2.0. What I want to do is connect the hard drive to the enclosure and run the SATA cable through the pre-drilled water cooling holes on my CM RC-690 case. I don't mean eSATA, either.

You said no esata, but that is your best route. I have eSATA on my motherboard and I was moving my drives around alot so i just plugged in a bare drive to the power and eSATA port, works fine.
I forgot to mention you can use a 5.25 (CD) slot for your drive you just need to find an adapter. This will prevent you from needing an external at all.

What are the benefits of getting Sitecom hard drive enclosures?
