Can someone recommend a good video card for gaming?
i feel like i should be able to max out any game out there, but i still get choppy in some areas of Everquest 2. i intentionally built a beast so i could handle mmorpg with no problems, but i still have to dummy-down my settings to avoid lag.....here are my components:

With a 550-watt power supply, I'd say a GTS 250 or Radeon 4850, which cost between $100-$120 (The 4850 is priced lower, a really good deal) If your psu was higher than 600W, then I'd recommend moving up to the GTX 260 or Radeon 4870, which run $150ish. With one of those you could max out EQ2, or even Vanguard (the true successor to Everquest, heheh)
