MLB genuine merchandise hologram sticker fake?
I recently bought a pujols all-star jersey off of ebay. It was a genuine merchandise hologram sticker that i think might be fake because there is no number on it. They usually have some kind of number of code on the bottom. The other authentic collection sticker also doesn't have a code. Does this mean the jersey is fake?

There are different names by which the holograms are classified for example reflection hologram, transmission hologram and embossed hologram etc. The reflection holograms are viewed when lit from the face, while transmission hologram can be seen by unblemished glow through it from the back side. There are embossed holograms which are finished by backing a transmission hologram with a mirror-like substance, letting it to be viewed when lit from the face. Even though a hologram is a image of a physical thing, it is quite different from a photograph.
