I bought a new Mac Keyboard, and the shortcuts aren't working.?
Shortcuts such as: Volume Up, Volume Down, Mute, Next song, Previous song, Pause/Play, and more. I have an iMac G5 and I've just recently gotten the new slicker grey keyboard, which is when I discovered the problem. I've tried going to System Preferences, and resetting the defaults for the Keyboard Shortcuts, but nothing has worked! I'm pretty good on the computer, but if you say something along the lines of, "Re-instal the ______ hard-drive and then refresh the _______ something something," I won't have a clue what you're talking about. Please, any advice would be lovely.
You probably don't have the drivers for the new keyboard on your older Mac. They should be on the CD that came with the keyboard, or go to the Apple website and download them. Or phone Apple, your keyboard is under warranty.
