Can you change out the internal gear hub on a Moulton AM2 ...to make 5 0r 7 speed?
Moultoneers out there please help me and tell me if a new hub can be added to the AM2 to give more gears .1985 ish model
I am not a Moultoneer, but I do design folding bikes and know a good amount about internal gear hubs... been playing with them since the early 70s.
I am afraid that the answer to your question is no. The hub shell will not allow the conversion from single or three speed to 5 or 7 speed. Your only option is to have a new hub laced into the wheel,which may also require having the frame reset to allow a wider hub.

LG is a manufacturer recognized for exceptional quality electronics at a price that's right. But how great are these new LED televisions?
LG have produced, what would appear to be, stunning TV's at competitive costs.Their new variety includes the LG 47SL9000, one from the smaller screens, although the specifications are fairly a lot the same across the board.
