Thumb Drive: Durable ones?
I wanted to buy a thumb drive but I was wondering which company makes a durable Thumb Drives amongst these companies below? I bought a 100GB by ATA but it crashed on me.

All of these manufacturers make a reliable Thumb Drive. I am assuming since you say Thumb Drive, you mean flash. Most Flash Drives arent 100GB the largest ones out there for the normal consumer are 8 GB. Flash Drives are only good for about 1,000,000 writes or so. (it may be more), before they crap out on you. Protable USB Hard Drives are more reliable. They may be more expensive though. This HP drive is very good, and you dont need to have an HP computer with the USB Drive bay to use it.

The Linear Tape Open (LTO) is a form of magnetic tape which was launched into the tape market almost three years before the start of 21st century in 1997. The companies which initiated the project of LTO tape format include IBM, Seagate and Hewlett-Packard (HP). More than thirty Registration authorities have licensed Linear Tape Open (LTO). The Maxell 183906 tape uses Ultra thin coating that removes the magnetic interference and increases the signal clarity.
