Can OS 10.5 Leopard be installed on a G5 iMac (pre-Intel) ?
It's the Powermac G5 model
Sure, it can be installed.
I wouldn't suggest it however. Leopard is definitely penchant to the Intel processor line and is tailored for them. I have friends who have tried it and some have had trouble while others have had no problem. I would stick with Tiger or Panther and then when Snow Leopard comes out this summer upgrade to a new Mac.
