Can someone explain to me, how can the universe be expanding AND infinite?
I just can't seem to wrap my mind around the idea. If something is infinite, can it expand?
Expanding is a loose term meaning that all the galaxies seem to be moving away from a central point. This also appears to be happening to some galaxies.
So, there is infinite space and all the galaxies in it are moving outward from a central point in the universe.
For an applied exercise in this, do the following:
1. Take a full bucket of marbles
2. Scatter the marbles about on the pavement by spinning the bucket in a circle with the opening facing away from the center of the spin (like the game Spin the Bottle),
3. The bucket is the center of the universe, the pavement beneath is "Space".
With me so far?
4. Each marble represents 1 galaxy.
5. From the galaxies perspective, space is infinite, right?
6. Observe how each marble rolls away from the center, not away from each other necessarily but away from the bucket as a whole.
Viola' there you have it.
Power of Subconscious Mind
Subconscious mind is that part of mind which functions from the outside or outer realm of consciousness. This may also include all the information of the past that is contained in our memory. This information is available to us whenever we recall it. It is a term which is popularly used for common purposes and is generally avoided in the academic environments. Subconscious mind can also be defined as that part of the mind that one is not completely aware of, but which still has the power to influence one's thoughts and actions.
Subconscious Mind and Law of Attraction
Law of attraction says that all our experiences are governed by our thought process. In other words, our thoughts have a profound effect on our life and the situations surrounding us. All of our emotions, conscious thoughts, unconscious thoughts, feelings, words and actions are directly affecting our life experiences. The thought process of a person directly affects the real life situation. One can work wonders by controlling one's thinking. The subconscious mind can be used for the purpose of law of attraction. You can get all that you have desired for if you have strong spiritual faith, enthusiasm, belief and gratitude. You can change your life for the best by utilizing the law of attraction and subconscious power to your advantage.
Subconscious Mind Power
You can achieve anything that is conceived by you conscious-mind and believed by your subconscious-mind. This can be termed as the subconscious-mind power. It has tremendous power to transform your life greatly and take you on the path of super success. There are unlimited powers of the subconscious-mind which are hidden. These incredible powers of the subconscious-mind can be brought to the fore by unleashing them by using various techniques like autosuggestion, affirmation, binaural beats, visualization, hypnosis, meditation, emotional freedom, EMDR or eye movement desensitization and reprocessing and subliminal messages.
Developing the Power of Subconscious-Mind
One can understand the working and mechanism of the subconscious-mind and use it to realize the infinite potential within. One can train oneself for creating power with the help of subconscious mind. Its power can be sharpened by developing intuition. Intuition can be developed by following one's instincts. The intuition can be developed by meditation and staying positive.
There are many ways and steps involved in the process of developing the power of the subconscious mind. These include elimination of stress and taking charge of one's own life. One has to work towards creating more fulfilling relationships and become confident in all social situations. You can improve your social surroundings by meeting new people, making new friends, forging new relationships.
You can develop yourself personally by becoming more creative and improving your self esteem. You must learn to enjoy life through positive thinking and outlook. You should be able to craft or create conducive situations for yourself and must be in a position to change them at will. You have the capabilities for the same. You can master all this by working rightly with your conscious and subconscious mind. You need to focus your mind and set the goal for change and you will achieve success in short span of time.
