Port forwarding by router for games?
I have a son who has this game called Counter-Strike. He asked me one day if he could buy a server from this company called NuclearFallOut.com because he said that his dedicated server was not working for others. This dedicated server he told me about was basically the same thing as buying a server from someone else, but by using your own computer, you can host it yourself allowing others to join, too. Better yet...It's free!
So I decided to do some research on how to port forward my router that I have obtained from Vonage. They gave me a Motorola Model No. VT2442.
I went to www.portforward.com to read about my router because a friend of mine referred me to the site. After following what seemed to be easy step-by-step instructions, I was unsuccessful. I tried doing it about three more times, (my son was begging me, and I wouldn't want to waste money) but still, the issue persisted.
Is there anyone willing to help me personally?

existing phone numbers and lines. It also lets you keep your
existing phone bills, since your long-distance calls still
travel over your phone-company lines.
Where TalkSwitch shines is in its features as a PBX and its
ability to connect remote offices and treat them as a single
phone system. When two or more TalkSwitches connect through the
Internet, the company has a virtual PBX. The offices can make
calls to one another by dialing extensions that may be in the
same office or at a remote office without incurring
long-distance charges.
The same connection can be used to make standard calls to phone
numbers that are local to the remote office but long-distance
from the calling office. I found this feature worked well, but
it requires the person making the call to know whether the
number is local to the remote office. That's something many
callers won't make the effort to deal with.
