Are there any websites out there with information on ALL the problems with Symantec/Norton security products?
I've been doing security software consulting for years. Our company sells and installs certain CA security products which have proven very WELL in the field. We routinely replace Symantec/Norton products with these alternatives as the Norton products tend to "destroy" decent Windows installations. Sometimes (as any experienced tech can vouch for) the Norton products won't even uninstall properly and we are forced to re-image!
Every so often I get non-technical customers who are "blinded" by Symantec's monopoly, advertising, etc. I wish there was an independent source of information I could point them to that could technically show all the troubles contained in such wretched Symantec "suite" products like "Internet Security". TIA.
