How do I found out what multimedia audio controller device was on my pci bus?
I had taken out my soundblaster card to put a wireless network card in its place. The previous owner had installed the card and apparently uninstalled the factory driver for the sound. I'm having a tought time trying to find out what driver it had in it from the factory. I own a Emachine (w2888 series) with windows xp
Go into My Computer and right click and click on Properties. Go to Device Manager (button) and a program should come up. Look for the device get its properties and the driver should be with the properties.
