Youtube Music to CD Easy Terms?
I am old and have no idea how to do this. There is some audio on Youtube that I would like to put on a CD, (country songs and whatnot) for when I travel. The CD I have says CD-R and it also says 700 MB 80 min. It also says PENGO if that means anything. I would like to put my favorite songs from youtube onto this CD so that I can listen to the songs in my truck. The CD is currently in my laptop which is a windows 7. If anyone can give me detailed instructions, for an old guy, as to how to do this, I would much appreciate it.
I hope this doesn't sound patronising, I'm trying to make it sound as simple as possible.
Step 1: Open one internet page to YouTube and click onto the video that you want to take the audio from.
Step 2: Open a second internet page (without closing YouTube) and go to here: http://www.youtube-mp3.org/ I use this website, it's free, quick and there are no viruses, so don't worry 
Step 3: At the very top of the YouTube page with your video is the URL. (It will look something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEGGgjAq7ok) Copy and paste it into the box on the YouTube-mp3 website.
Step 4:Click 'convert video' below where you've pasted the link. It will become an audio only file, called an mp3.
Step 5: Once it has converted click 'download'. At this point it will give you an option to chose where to save the file and also to rename it. I always rename mine to make them easier to find, but that's just my preference. Save the file to whereever you want. My suggestion would be to make a folder called 'CD for Truck' (or whatever you like!) and save it there.
Step 6: Repeat these steps on as many videos as you like, but bear in mind that you cannot exceed 80 minutes' worth of audio or it won't fit on the CD. Don't worry about the 700MB bit, there's no way you'll exceed that with 80min of audio.
Step 7: Locate the CD on your laptop (it should be under 'My Computer' on the start menu). You can either drag and drop or copy and paste the folder with your songs to the CD. It will ask you if you want to transfer them to the disk, say yes.
Step 8: Eject the disk, and it should play in your truck!
