xerox PE 120i freezes up?
xerox PE 120i = Samsung 4720F
once fully warmed up the keypad locks up
but untill then you can copy/print from menu/print from computer, but you only get one page before it freezes up
I've updated the firmware, reseated all the connectors to the logic board, there is no ram to reseat, I can't get the battery out (is it soldered in?),
I have access to samsung (samsung reseller) but since it's labled as a xerox I can't get them to help.

I checked the fuser and it's good + it'll print one good looking print each time before the keypad stops working
Does the machine give any error code or is it a straight lockup? Off the top of my head the only thing that could cause a lockup as soon as it warms up is the main pwb. With that being said I have seen them lock and melt the pressure roll to the heat roll.

I checked in the service manual. Unfortunately there are not any RAP's that deal with this directly. I checked the wiring diagrams and the only thing in the circuit is the main pwb and control pwb. If I were going to attempt repair I would go with the most likely candidate, the main pwb
Do I Need Replacement Ink Cartridges From Refresh Cartridges for My Printer?
