USB to Serial adapter not detecting modem?
I have just upgraded my PC and realised it hasn't got a serial port to connect my fax modem to.
I have purchased a usb to serial adapter from ebay, it's the usual unbranded chineese style, with the only name saying HL on the packet.
It seems to install itself, saying its a 'HUGH PINE USB to Serial port', however, I can't get my modem to work through it.
Anyone got any ideas?
