I want to set my computer to require a password only for certain hours of the day?
I want to set a password for my computer, but one that only has to be used between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. I have Windows XP Media Center and Norton SystemWorks Standard Edition.
Might there be something free I can download that will do this?
I homeschool my kids but am in bed at different hours than they are. Their bedtime is 11p.m. Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and can't sleep so I want to use the computer - but I don't want them to have access to it after 11p.m.
I'm usually in bed between 8:30 - 9 p.m. and am not up to set a password or screen saver at 11 p.m.. I like them to be able to use the comuter after I go to bed, so I need soemthin that will click in automatically.
It's possible. Run a screen saver at night that requires a password to unlock it. That option is right in the screen saver menu. Or just password protect your account and log out at night.
Shaklee Announces New ShakleeKids Product Line
Shaklee has just announced a new line of products. These are products for children and are called the ShakleeKids line. The first product that is being offered is a DHA dietary supplement called Mighty Smart. Mighty Smart contains the essential omega-3 fatty acid DHA and comes in a convenient and tasty orange flavored chew. This is very important, as the normal DHA sources for children come in foods that are not typically enjoyed by young kids (fish and liver).
What is DHA? Why is it important?
DHA is an essential omega-3 fatty acid that plays many roles in supporting early brain and vision development. Among other things, it promotes cell-to-cell communication and supports the production of brain chemicals that control mood and behavior. Shortages of certain brain chemicals have been shown to be a factor in children with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It is very important for all young children to have a diet that provides all essential nutrients. This is very difficult to do for all required vitamins and minerals--especially for young children.
This is why a regimen of dietary supplements is strongly recommended for all children. Children's brains develop very quickly after birth. By the time a child is 5, his brain is already 3 times as large as it was at birth. DHA supports brain health and normal brain function, including memory, focus, concentration, and attention. How Much DHA do children need?
Studies show that some kids are not getting enough of this important brain nutrient, which is prevalent in fish and certain meats such as liver.
