VPN on my linux VPS???????????
Ok I'm trying to install real VPN on my linux VPS for remote desktop access but I'm not typing the install command right?(putty)
ok so according to the thing I'm suppost to put
vncinstall
where
And my directory to the /vpn/vpn/vpninstall
so I would put /vnc/vnc/vncinstall [] []
But it doesn't work any ideas?
First you need to let us know what type of vps you have. Mainly what virtualization software is running the vps; Xen, Virutuozzo, Vmware? What OS? Ubuntu, Centos, Redhat?
I know Virtuozzo 3.5.1 is picky when it comes to allowing VPN access, but Vmware and Xen are just fine. Looks like you want to using VNC for VPN / Remote access. I mainly use Centos and likely you are as well.
